Ever since we were little, Emil (right) and I knew we would start a business together. Back then, we didn't know what it would be, but as long as we could do it together, everything was fine.
I really don't know where it comes from, but Emil and I developed an interest in furniture design in our teenage years. Maybe it was when Emil took design in high school and I read his books at home.
Even though Emil and I share many interests, we are also different in many ways. Emil is the creative one, who comes up with a lot of (sometimes) good ideas. He loves finding a good vintage find, whether it's clothes or furniture. Social work is his great passion, and I believe that if it were up to him, Underflod would be a non-profit organization aiming to save the world.
I (Mads) am, in many ways, the complete opposite. You'll usually find me in a white shirt, and I have a keen interest in cars and fine wine. I manage the company's operations and work extensively with our figures. My biggest dream is to make Underflod the world's largest furniture and interior brand.
Our differences are Underflod's greatest strength. With Emil's dream of maximum impact and my dream of seeing Underflod grow, we always find the best compromises. That's precisely what makes Underflod unique.
