Product Description
The idea for our coasters arose from the fact that we had a lot of table legs left over when we received recycled wood for our serving trays, which primarily comes from discarded tabletops and recycled furniture from the recycling stations in Middelfart.
These table legs had a nice contour and were of such good quality that they had to be used for something. So we went to the workshop and thought of cutting the table legs into slices as if it were rye bread - and the shape of our coasters came about.
Subsequently, they are treated with natural oil and are water resistant so you can be sure that you will get a high-quality product that is both beautiful and practical.

The Story of Our Coasters
The idea for our coasters arose when we had a surplus of table legs from deliveries of reclaimed wood for our serving trays. The wood primarily comes from discarded tables collected at recycling centers in Middelfart.
The table legs were of such high quality that they deserved a new life. In the workshop, we therefore came up with the idea of cutting them into slices, and this is how the distinctive shape of our coasters emerged.
Subsequently, the coasters are treated with natural oil, which protects the wood and makes them water-repellent. The result is an aesthetic and practical high-quality product, created from recycled materials and with a focus on responsible craftsmanship.
Our design process starts with taking leftover materials that are no longer used for their original purpose. Our task is to analyze the material's potential and explore how it can be transformed into a functional and value-creating product for our customers. This process takes place in collaboration with social workshops, where both the properties of the material and the skills of the employees at the social economic workshops are incorporated. The goal is to optimize the utilization of materials and promote human resources, creating added value on multiple levels.

How do I return?
If you regret your purchase or wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, and all packaging and any additional accessories must be included. Please address the package to Underflod ApS and send it to our address: Brandts Passage 31E, 5000 Odense C (preferably choose delivery to the nearest parcel shop).

What is your delivery time?
For the vast majority of items, delivery is within 2-5 business days. For some items, delivery times may vary. This applies to items that are only produced once an order is placed, which is done to minimize overproduction.
