Mirrors
Mirrors with quality and thoughtful design
At Underflod, we carefully select our mirrors. It is important to us that each mirror is beautiful in itself and can help elevate the decor – whether it hangs in the hallway, living room, or bedroom. Design and function always go hand in hand.
A mirror has many purposes and can be used in far more contexts than just checking your outfit for the day. With the right mirrors, you can give a room more depth and make it appear larger and brighter. Mirrors are therefore an obvious choice for smaller rooms such as the entrance and bathroom – but also for the bedroom, living room, or home office.
Normann Copenhagen's Horizon Mirror is produced with a steel shelf under the mirror. The shelf acts as a natural finish under the mirror and can be used for small items – for example, keys in the hallway or jewelry in the bathroom. This makes the mirror more functional without compromising its aesthetic. The mirror is therefore not only a decorative element but also a practical solution with storage space.
Lighting and reflection in mirrors
When a mirror hangs in a room, it will reflect light from lamps or windows. This will make the room feel more inviting and larger, making it a good solution for making a small room appear bigger.
Mirrors for multiple rooms in the home
Small mirrors are great for catching the eye, while tall vertical models are often used where a more classic full-length mirror is needed. Regardless of the type, mirrors can be hung individually or as part of a larger wall arrangement. This allows for adapting the decor to suit your specific home.
Mirrors can be a practical solution in smaller rooms, where they not only have aesthetic value but also make the room more functional. For example, use a mirror in your hallway so you can quickly check your appearance before heading out the door – or use it as a design element or part of your gallery wall in the living room, where it adds light and depth to the room.
Mirrors are an essential part of the bathroom and are used every morning when getting ready. They also naturally belong in the wardrobe or bedroom, where they are indispensable when choosing clothes.
Mirrors in different shapes
In our selection of mirrors, you will find both small and large mirrors, as well as both wall mirrors and floor mirrors, with soft or sharp edges. We also have mirrors with wooden frames and metal details. The different shapes and materials make it easy to decorate your home exactly as you wish.
How to decorate with a mirror
By placing a side table next to the floor mirror or a shelf under the wall mirror, you create a cohesive and well-thought-out decor with space for decorative elements. This way, the mirror becomes a natural part of the room and feels more intentional – not just a practical solution for seeing yourself.
FAQ - About mirrors
Which mirror should I choose?
First, you need to consider what the function should be: should it be a tall mirror to check your outfit? Or should it be a small mirror to hang in the living room? Once that's decided, you should look at the different models and determine what meets your requirements both functionally and stylistically. Of course, it's also important that the size of the mirror is appropriate.
Which material is best suited for a mirror?
At Underflod, we have mirrors with both wood and metal. Both are very beautiful but can create different expressions. A mirror with a wooden frame creates a harmonious and calm atmosphere. A mirror with metal details is more minimalist and fits into a more modern home.
Underflod is the opposite of overconsumption – we are passionate about transforming existing materials into timeless products that last for generations and set a new standard for future furniture production.
