This dining chair from FLOAT is an open-back chair that ensures gentle flexibility and comfort. Its design and functionality make it suitable for many different environments, including restaurants, as it can be stacked up to four pieces.

A single, slightly curved tubular steel frame supports the wooden seat and backrest. FLOAT is available with a seat and backrest in either natural oak or black ash veneer mounted on a black powder-coated steel frame.

FLOAT is the first design collaboration between Lars Vejen and Taijiro Ishiko and is produced in North Jutland.

Lars Vejen is an architect trained at the Aarhus School of Architecture, and founded Design Studio Lars Vejen in 2014 with offices in Denmark and Japan. Taijiro Ishiko interned with Lars Vejen from 2016-2017, and completed his master's degree in 2018.
Together, they represent a fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese design traditions, where function, aesthetics, and craftsmanship meet.

If you regret your purchase or wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, and all packaging and any additional accessories must be included.
