Product Description
Our cutting board with juice groove is a practical kitchen tool that carries a completely unique story. Each cutting board is produced locally in Denmark in social economy workshops, where we give new life to recycled materials from Danish furniture production. For our cutting boards, we use offcuts from tabletop production that would otherwise go to waste. These pieces of wood are normally used for our serving trays, but the smaller cutouts from sinks fit perfectly in size for cutting boards. In this way, we make optimal use of the materials and create a product that is both functional and circular.
The juice groove makes the cutting board ideal for meat and other juicy ingredients, as it collects the liquid and prevents it from running out onto the kitchen counter. This makes both cooking and cleaning easier, whether you're cutting a juicy steak, a whole roast chicken or ripe tomatoes. At the same time, the cutting board is also suitable for vegetables, fruit and serving tapas, making it a versatile tool in your kitchen.

The story of the No. 9 cutting board
Cutting board no. 9 has a very special history. It is produced in Denmark in social economy workshops, from recycled wood from Danish countertop production. The cut-out parts for sinks are precisely the right size and quality for our cutting boards.
The cutting board has a juice groove, making it ideal for cutting meat or other juicy ingredients. This prevents liquid from getting on the table and makes cleaning easier. The surface is treated with natural oil, which makes the board dirt-repellent and easy to clean by hand, so the simple and timeless design retains its beautiful appearance for many years.
Our design process starts with taking leftover materials that are no longer used for their original purpose. Our task is to analyze the material's potential and explore how it can be transformed into a functional and value-creating product for our customers. This process takes place in collaboration with social workshops, where both the properties of the material and the skills of the employees at the social economic workshops are incorporated. The goal is to optimize the utilization of materials and promote human resources, creating added value on multiple levels.

How do I return?
If you regret your purchase or wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, and all packaging and any additional accessories must be included. Please address the package to Underflod ApS and send it to our address: Brandts Passage 31E, 5000 Odense C (preferably choose delivery to the nearest parcel shop).
