Cutting Board with Grooves for Bread

A cutting board with grooves for bread makes it easy to cut bread without scattering crumbs all over the kitchen counter. This oak cutting board is designed with a grooved side that collects breadcrumbs, providing you with a more practical and clean surface in the kitchen. The other side is smooth and can be used for cutting vegetables, fruit, or other ingredients - perfect for those who want one versatile cutting board for multiple purposes.

Large or Small Grooved Cutting Board

Our No. 2 cutting board comes in two sizes. The large cutting board is 50 x 29 cm, making it ideal for freshly baked baguettes or other large pastries. The small cutting boards are 35 x 25 cm and are therefore perfect for buns or rolls.

Grooved Cutting Board Made from Recycled Wood

The cutting boards are made from 100% recycled oak from Danish furniture production. The wood comes from surplus material from tabletops, giving new life to quality materials that would otherwise go to waste. Production takes place at social-economic workshops in Denmark, making the cutting board a responsible choice for the kitchen.

Grooved Cutting Boards for Serving

All our cutting boards have a smooth back, making them ideal for use as serving boards. They can be used to serve desserts, tapas, meat, or other small dishes. By using the cutting board for both cooking and serving, you get a versatile kitchen tool where food can be prepared and served on the same board.

If you prefer not to use a cutting board for serving, we also have both a small and a large tapas board.

Make Your Grooved Cutting Board Part of the Interior Design

The cutting boards are made of solid oak, and the natural grain patterns are therefore visible in the wood. When not in use, the board can be advantageously placed against a wall in the kitchen, where it also functions as part of the decor and gives the room a natural look. This helps create a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the kitchen.

Cutting Boards with Juice Grooves

If you need a cutting board more for cutting meat or other juicy foods, there is also a cutting board with a juice groove along the edge. The clever juice groove catches juice or liquid from the food, ensuring it doesn't spill onto the table.

These cutting boards are available, like the other, in both a small and a large version – and here the back is also completely smooth.

Grooved or Juice-Grooved Cutting Boards as a Gift Idea

These beautiful cutting boards are a practical and thoughtful gift that most people would appreciate. This versatile product can be used for cutting bread and vegetables, as well as for serving small dishes. Therefore, the board is very likely to find a prominent place in the recipient's home.

How to Maintain a Wooden Grooved Cutting Board

To get the most out of your oak cutting board, it is recommended to maintain it regularly. Wood is a natural material that benefits from being treated with rapeseed or sunflower oil. This helps protect the surface from moisture and drying out, while also enhancing the wood's natural structure. Using olive oil can darken the cutting board.

After use, the cutting board can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap, then thoroughly dried and placed freely so it can dry completely. It should not be put in the dishwasher, as heat and moisture can cause the wood to warp. With proper care, a solid oak cutting board can last for many years.
