Description

FLYING is a series of sculptural pendant lamps with a soft, organic shape. When hung, they appear to float elegantly in the air. The FLYING lamps are designed and produced with consideration for the environment. The lampshade is created through a 3D knitting process that goes directly from yarn to finished product, meaning that no material is wasted. The LED light source is placed in the top of the lamp, causing the light to be softly diffused through the knitted base.
The FLYING lamps are also delivered flat-packed in cardboard, making them compact and more environmentally conscious in terms of transport and distribution.

Materials

The screen is made of 3D-knitted flame-retardant polyester.
