The Jam bookshelf, designed by Rudolph Schelling Webermann, is composed of only three different elements and is a clever and elegantly executed design. The defining element is a wedge, which allows the bookshelf to be assembled without the use of screws or tools. The shelves are simply placed on the wedges, and then gravity and friction do the rest.
