This table lamp from Motarasu is the result of what can happen with shapes when you squeeze an oval piece of paper together. They have taken a sheet with two soft curves, carefully squeezed it into a slender metal frame, which then gives this shape that resembles wings, balancing lightly between two columns. The result is a unique lampshade that changes depending on the angle of view and awakens creative interpretation.
The name "Cho" means butterfly in Japanese, reflecting the lightness of the design. The softness of the shade meets the solid steel of the body itself, and the contrast between white and black creates an elegant expression.
The CHO table lamp is ideal for a windowsill, a dresser or a desk. With its semi-matte, transparent shade, the lamp provides a soft and pleasant light.
