Product Description
Our Hejmdal coat rack combines our unique coat racks, made from recycled metal from steel production and the same recycled wood we use for, among other things, our Hermod serving trays. Some of the pieces of wood we receive are too thin to be used as serving trays, which is why they can instead be used as a back panel on the coat rack.
The metal pieces are processed in a protected workshop on Funen and then a pre-consumer recycled powder coating is added.
In this way, we minimize our own material waste, and you can therefore shop for the beautiful design and bring great functionality into the home with a clear conscience.

The story of the Hejmdal coat rack
The Hejmdal coat rack combines functional Danish design with responsible use of recycled materials. The hooks are made from recycled metal from steel production, while the back panel consists of recycled wood, which we also use for our Hermod serving trays, among other things.
Some of the wood pieces we receive are too thin to be used as serving trays. Instead of discarding them, they are reused as the back panel for the Hejmdal coat rack. In this way, we make optimal use of materials and reduce unnecessary waste.
The recycled material is processed at a sheltered workshop on Funen. The result is a durable and aesthetic coat rack that combines high functionality with a timeless expression.

Our design process starts with taking leftover materials that are no longer used for their original purpose. Our task is to analyze the material's potential and explore how it can be transformed into a functional and value-creating product for our customers. This process takes place in collaboration with social workshops, where both the properties of the material and the skills of the employees at the social economic workshops are incorporated. The goal is to optimize the utilization of materials and promote human resources, creating added value on multiple levels.

How do I return?
If you regret your purchase or wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, and all packaging and any additional accessories must be included. Please address the package to Underflod ApS and send it to our address: Brandts Passage 31E, 5000 Odense C (please choose delivery to the nearest parcel shop if possible).

What is your delivery time?
For the vast majority of our products, delivery is within 2-5 business days. For some items, delivery times may vary. This applies to items that are only produced once an order has been placed, which is done to minimize overproduction.
