Bread cutting boards with grooves

Our solid oak cutting board is perfect for cutting bread, and is both a very beautiful and incredibly durable cutting board, which is also produced responsibly, with respect for both the environment and the people who produced it.

The cutting board comes in both a small and a large model, and has practical grooves on one side, making it ideal for cutting bread. The grooves collect all the crumbs, so they don't lie around on the cutting board or kitchen counter. When you're done cutting the bread, it's easy to simply pour out the crumbs and clean the board.

Cutting boards for bread and other foodstuffs

The cutting board can also easily be used as a normal cutting board, and not just for bread. There are only grooves on one side of the cutting board, while the other is completely flat and is therefore perfect as a normal cutting board for cutting vegetables or other foodstuffs.

The cutting board as part of the dining experience

A good cutting board not only makes cooking easier, it can also elevate the entire dining experience. Use it to arrange bread, cheese, charcuterie or fruit in a beautiful and inviting way. The natural wood surface adds a warm and rustic touch, making serving more elegant and inviting – perfect for cozy meals with family and friends.

Cutting boards for bread made from recycled wood and with responsible production

Our cutting boards are made from surplus wood from the production of kitchen countertops, which would otherwise be discarded. The cutouts for sinks are perfectly sized to become beautiful and functional cutting boards.

The cutting boards are produced in social enterprises in Denmark, which means that you can use them with a clear conscience, both for the environment and the people behind the production.

Durable bread cutting board

Since the cutting boards are made of solid oak, they are very durable, and with the right care, they can easily last for many years. A wooden cutting board is gentler on knives, as the wood surface does not wear down the blade in the same way as a plastic cutting board does.

When the cutting board is not in use, it can decorate the kitchen. The solid oak brings something natural into the kitchen, and is therefore perfect as a decorative element when not in use.

FAQ - About bread cutting boards

Can the cutting board be used for meat?

Yes, but if the meat is very juicy, the juice will collect in the grooves, and then flow out onto the kitchen counter. Therefore, our cutting board with a juice groove is better, it collects all the juice in the groove, so you can easily keep the table clean, and then simply wash the cutting board.

How to best maintain a bread cutting board?

Wooden cutting boards cannot be put in the dishwasher, so they should only be washed by hand, with warm water and soap. To extend the life of the cutting board and keep it beautiful, it should be treated with cooking oil as needed.

Are bread cutting boards available in several sizes?

Yes, we have both a small and a large model. The small one is 25 cm wide and 35 cm long, while the large one is 29 cm wide and 50 cm long. The small one is therefore perfect for cutting rolls or buns, while the large one is perfect for cutting a French bread or a long baguette.

Does the cutting board wear down knives?
