Our knife holders are unique:
In order for our knife holder to be produced as circular as possible, we have refrained from using magnets. In addition to being difficult to decompose and therefore not particularly environmentally friendly, magnets run the risk of scratching and eventually damaging the blade of the knives.
That's why our oak knife holders are made a bit deeper and with a groove to lower your knives into without wearing the blade.
The knife holders are made from recycled wood and are produced in social workshops in Denmark.
NOTE: The knife holders are delivered without knives. We also point out that the knife holder is best suited to knives where the connection between the shaft and the blade is straight.

The Story Behind Our Knife Holders
Our oak knife holders are unique in both design and function. To ensure the most circular production possible, we have chosen to completely avoid the use of magnets. Magnets are not only difficult to recycle and therefore not environmentally friendly, but they can also cause scratches and, in the long run, damage the knife's blade.
Instead, our knife holders are designed with a precisely milled groove that allows knives to be safely lowered into the holder. This protects the knife blade and ensures gentle storage without wear.
The knife holders are made from recycled wood and produced in social economic workshops in Denmark. The result is a functional and aesthetic knife holder that fits perfectly into the modern kitchen – with consideration for both the environment and craftsmanship.
Our design process starts by taking waste materials that are no longer used for their original purpose. Our task is to analyse the material's potential and explore how it can be transformed into a functional and value-creating product for our customers. This process takes place in collaboration with social workshops, where both the properties of the material and the skills of the employees at the social enterprises are taken into account. The goal is to optimise the utilisation of materials and promote human resources, creating added value on multiple levels.

How do I return?
If you regret your purchase or wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery. The item must be in the same condition as when you received it, and all packaging and any extra accessories must be included. Please address the package to Underflod ApS and send it to our address: Brandts Passage 31E, 5000 Odense C (preferably choose delivery to the nearest parcel shop).
Please send us an email to inform us that you are returning the item, so we know it's on its way. For other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What is your delivery time?
For most products, we offer delivery within 2-5 business days. Some items may have different delivery times. This applies to products that are only manufactured once an order has been placed, which is done to minimize overproduction.
What do I do if I receive a defective item?
