Description

Table lamp from Motarasu with a unique design

This table lamp from Motarasu combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a modern and artistic design. SEN means lines in Japanese, and the many bamboo strips bent into their shape create both elegant lines and interesting shadow play in any room.

The lamp's design is based on takesensuji, a traditional technique usually used to make insect cages and paper lanterns. This classic craft is given new life in the SEN lamp, which combines tradition with modern design requirements. The SEN table lamp is meticulously handcrafted in Japan by artist Tani Toshiyuki and bamboo masters and consists of around 600 bamboo strips.

The lamp is also available as a pendant .
